Google Apps are a suite of cloud-based Google productivity and collaboration tools that can be used to enhance the learning and teaching experience. They include tools like Gmail, Drive, Slides, as well as the social networking tools of Google+.
At RMIT, all staff and students automatically get access to the Gmail and Drive with their RMIT accounts. However, to gain access to the Google+ features and Youtube, staff and students must first opt-in to Google Additional Services at RMIT and set up a basic profile.
