Following on from my previous post, here is a list of my favourite resource sites. These are excellent options when looking for and using creative commons images.

  • Pixabay: All images and videos on Pixabay are free of copyrights under Creative Commons CC0. You may download, modify, distribute, and use them royalty free for anything you like, even in commercial applications. Attribution is not required (https://pixabay.com/)
  • Visualhunt: As the name suggests, this site searches high quality free photos from many sites and display them all in the one spot. Most of the photos are CC0 license  but also offer all Creative Commons and Public Domain photos from sources like Flickr. (https://visualhunt.com/)
  • Picjumbo: Is a free stock photo site created. Images are free and can be used for anything you want. (https://picjumbo.com/)
  • Start Up Stock Photos:  Free photos for startups, bloggers, publishers, websites, designers, developers, creators, & everyone else. (http://startupstockphotos.com/)
